Chestnut Hill neighborhood restaurant, Amanita, has re-opened at 223 W. Walnut street a few blocks east from their former address, 401 W Walnut St. The new space was formerly occupied by vegan restaurant, Root. After completing interior renovations and undergoing the city permitting process the restaurant re-opened slightly later than their “late winter” 2025 target.

Interior renovations included an upgraded water filtration system for high-quality coffee, installation of a live-edge all wood coffee bar, an open-kitchen, and a new woodland mural reminiscent of the mural at their former location.
