Business owner, Jacqueline Lanza, cut the ribbon on the front porch of Lancatster Cat Cafe today at 222 N. Duke St.. Guests are invited to hang out in the front parlor room where beverages and baked goods are for sale, and timed-entry tickets are also available for purchase to spend time with adoptable cats in 2 rear lounge rooms.

Renovation of the 780 sq. ft. former frame store turned cat café was done by Megan It Better LLC. The renovation was in part funded by a Kickstarter campaign that raised $19,368 from 201 backers.

The mixed use 3-story building also advertises apartments for rent and remains registered to Earl Bachman who purchased the property in 1999 for $160,000.
